A 45-Year History of Steady Growth and Trusted Service
In 1981, Steve Sager founded a certified public accounting firm in downtown St. Charles to serve local businesses. Starting with a borrowed computer and printer, he built the firm around accuracy, accountability, and strong client relationships.
Nearly three decades later, Paul Jones & Co., CPAs, merged with the firm to form Jones, Sager & Company. The firm expanded across industries and markets while maintaining clear communication, accountability, and consistent service standards.
In 2016, Steve Sager retired from public accounting. Paul Jones continued to develop the firm’s team and client base, focusing on long-term stability and measured growth. In 2020, Kathy Savarese and Maria Harrington were named partners, and the firm became Jones, Savarese, Harrington & Company.
Today, the firm continues to evolve with the formation of JSH Tax & Business Consulting. This structure supports continued growth and expands the services available to clients. Our team, standards, and relationships remain consistent, with added capabilities that better support modern business operations.
